Judging Criteria

Below is the criteria the judges will be looking for. Each model will be given a score. If the score is high enough it will be given an award, bronze silver or gold.

Painting (70)

• Detail

• Highlighting

• Colour Scheme

• Shading

• Primer showing?

• Neatness

• Finish e.g. gloss for gems

• Thickness of paint

• Decals

Modelling/Conversion Work (15)

• Mould lines

• Vent tails

• Joints filled

• Realism of conversion

Base (15)

• Slot filled

• Extra detail such as mesh, pipes, fungi.

Total (100)

Award Bands:

• Gold  85

• Silver  70

• Bronze   60

Once the awards have been given, from the gold entries third, second and first place will be chosen. First place will receive the prize.
