Eldar Shadow Class Crusier

The Shadow Class Cusier is one of the Eldar's three main ships. Like all Eldar ships it has a low armour of 4+ and only 6 hit points, but this is made up for in its superior speed and firepower. Although it is a crusier, the Shadow is able to outrun even the escort ships of other races. It only has two weapons, these are its Keel Torpedoes (strength 4) and its Prow Weapons Battery (firepower 12). I always take one of these in my fleet if i can as they are more than able to handle themselves. With the Eldar's superior technology, all enemy ships are counted as closing targets on the gunnery table, and you may re-roll against an enemy ship's armour with the torpedoes. I like to send a Shadow in with some support, usually a few escort ships as they are still quite vulnerable to massed enemy firepower. Eldar have high leaderships, so you are likely to always have missiles.
