Black Templars Land Raider

The Land Raider, the hardest tank a Space Marine army can take. Armed with a vast array of weapons the Land Raider specialises in Tank Hunting. Not only can the Land Raider throw out its share of firepower it can transport a unit of ten Space Marines or five Terminators. 

When using this particular variant of Land Raider it is important to decide its use before the battle. It has two uses; transport or shoot. The Land Raider is not particularly useful at doing both. During a Transport run it can deliver squad to any location on the battle in relative safety but wont be able to fire its guns. However if it chooses to be a firebase it can sit back and pick off its targets. The dilemma when trying to fulfill both roles is whether to fire or move. If the Land Raider moves it can't fire but if it sits back and shoots the squad inside will not be able to do anything.   

On the modeling side, the Land Raider is one of the greatest tank kits ever made. Bits move everywhere and the model fits together beautifully.  (Jes Goodwin is a genius).
