Note that both sides have doubled up the army lists. The Imperial Guard are using house rules. The Buffalo tank is a new transport which is just a bit of fun. The rules for this can be found on in the rules section. 

The Battle

Once both sides had deployed the dice was rolled for the first turn. The Eldar won with a 6, things were looking good for the Eldar.

Turn 1

Two falcons on the right sped down the flank in an attempt to out maneuver the Imperial Guard. The Guardians led by the Farseer and the Avatar surged down the middle. The to remaining Falcons aimed at the Leman Russes. Two lucky shots penetrated the armour and both crews of the Leman Russ were stunned unable to fire in the next turn.

The Imperial Guard steadied their lines while the armoured transport units took the battle to the Eldar. The Avatar takes a wound from the Ratling snipers. The Vypers are blown out of the sky by the combined fire of heavy bolters and multi lasers. The infantry began their firing. Only three guardians and a jetbike fell due to the Warlocks concealing the Guardian squads. The Warwalker is taken down by the AT shells of the Vanquisher.

Turn 2

The Falcons swoop in while the Striking Scorpions and Fire Dragons dismount to go tank hunting. Their targets - the Exterminator and Vanquisher. The left most Falcon carried on its flanking maneuver. The centre of the lines moves forward again while the swooping hawks engage the Colonel. The Colonel's command squad falls back voluntarily after taking two casualties. The Fire Dragons and Striking Scorpions succeed in destroying both tanks with Haywire grenades and meltabombs. Both Tanks explode with a 6 killing a Scorpion and three Guardsmen. The Jetbikes assault the Tallarn infantry killing 3 while a Guardsmen bravely hacks one down. The Guard flee but are run down. 

The Buffalo moves into a position to flame the Swooping Hawks from the side. The Storm Troopers take up firing positions from the ruins in the centre of the battlefield. The Leman Russ crew regain control of their vehicle and turn the turret to face the pair of Falcons on the right flank. A superb shot takes both down. With the Guardians closing in the infantry squads take aim killing the Eldar in droves. All of the Swooping Hawks are fried. The sentinel assaults the Guardian squad but there are no kills. The Warlock moves into contact wielding his Singing Spear.
